Camera lenses

This will be a placeholder for more examples as I couldn't find an old but popular video yet.

Here is a simple example with no background so unfortunately you won't be able to witness the "compression" achieved with wide angle lenses.

As a summary, wide angle lenses tend to deform the subject in portrait photography but give you more coverage of the environment (compression) when long lenses narrow the amount of environment covered and flatten the subject.

A human eye sight is something between 55 and 100. 85 being an acknowledged number and this is the type of lenses normally used for portraiture.
